Parent Action CommitteeWe are excited to announce the reformation of our FCS Parent Committee. We've learned a lot over the past few years, and we're looking forward to the coming 2012-2013 school year and the launch of our new parent organization. In an effort to keep our tuition as low as possible, we rely heavily on our parents to be involved on campus on a regular basis. Our PAC serves four primary functions, described below, and you can click HERE to sign-up so serve on our fundraising our major event committees:
1. Activities (Homeroom Coordinators)
From field trips to class parties, our parents are the engine that make it all happen. PAC coordinates meeting classroom needs through Room Parents, volunteers and much more.
2. Major Events
Including events such as Back-to-School Night and Graduation, PAC helps us organize these events for our students & parents.
3. Fundraising
About 10% of our budget is met through active fundraising. From clothing sales & World's Finest Chocolate to other opportunities that will be brand new for 2012-2013, we are so grateful for our parents who not only understand this financial shortfall, but also graciously involved themselves to make each of our fundraisers a success!
4. Family Investment Hours
New to FCS for 2012-2013 is the requirement of Family Investment Hours. Each family can fulfill their hours in a umber of ways, and our PAC helps us coordinate these opportunities. You can visit our Volunteer Hours page for more information.
