Food Drive!
For the next week, the Honor's society of our school will be managing collection recepticles in classrooms and the main office in an effort to help address a shortage of non-perishable protein items (canned meat/fish, stew, chili, beans, lentils, peanut butter, etc. at the local "Manna Food Pantry" at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Fairfield. Any items you can donate to this ministry (which is part of the larger "Community Resource Center" efforts of our city) would be greatly appreciated and faciliatated on campus by our Honors Society students. If you have any questions on how to be involved, please contact Jacob Voyce at 427 2665 ext 707. Thanks for helping in this service project!

Award Chapel, June 4th!
Don't miss the last award chapel on Tuesday June 4th @ 2pm. Students will receive end of year awards such as: a grade completion certificate, Principal's Honor Roll, Honor Roll, John Mark Award or the Heart of theLion award.

Get Your Yearbook!
At FCS we like to put the full year into our yearbook (all end of year activities and graduations). Because of this, yearbooks are intentionally not ready until the middle of August. Buy your yearbook now and receive it August 15th at back to school night. If you are graduating or will not be here next year you can pick up your copy in the school office. Order before school ends and receive signature pages that are made to easily attach into your yearbook. Yearbooks are $35.00 before June 6th and $40.00 after June 6th.

 Lost 'n' Found
Our lost 'n' found is overflowing. We have lots of sweatshirts, lunch boxes, water bottles and other items. Please stop by the office and check it out or remind your child to look for their lost treasures. As it states in the handbook we donate all items left in lost n' found every quarter. Anything left in our lost 'n' found after June 6th will be donated.

Last Day of School, June 6th!
Just a reminder the last day of school is June 6th and it's a 1/2 day. We are dismissed at noon. All students who are not done with their school work by June 5th will be attending mandatory summer school. Summer school starts on Monday, June 10th and ends on Friday, June 28th. Students are required to attend school form 8am-noon and the cost is $300.00. Encourage your student to stay on task and avoid summer school.

Last Day to Buy Tickets, May 31st
Our 4th annual field trip to Discovery Kingdom will be on June 5th. All teachers and staff are invited to attend so school will not be in session. This means students need to have their work completed by June 4th or they will be attending summer school. We are able to get group tickets for $29.00 each. If you would like to purchase tickets please have your money in the office by Friday, May 31st. You can also use your season pass if you have one. Remember parking is $20.00 so try to carpool.

To print out the form and receieve more information click here.

  A New Way to Carpool
FCS has set up a free web page that will link parents and guardians together to carpool. Click HERE for the new site. You will also see the carpool sign-ups link under Parent Central/Links & Information. You will need to register with the site and carpool world will show you matches of who is available to carpool. It can be a one time or everyday need. The more parents we have registered the more chances you have at finding a carpool.

PAC - Parent Action Committee
